The management of the Afrique Construction and Maintenance Company has crossed the Rubicon by its timely renovation of the Executive Pavilion, the building expected to host the Inaugural Ball after many decades.
In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer Prince O. Akinremi said he is not surprise at the speed at which the job was done because when experts are available and well taken care of, they tend to make a difference.
The ACMC boss noted that with persistent effort in meeting the challenge of the contract`s term of reference signed between the company and the Ministry of Public Works; it shows that Liberian construction companies when given the opportunity to perform can do even better than their competitors.
“The management of the Liberian Broadcasting Corporation recognized our efforts in renovating the pavilion in less than three months and because of that the company was presented a certificate as the construction company of the year”, the CEO said.
The ACMC boss added that the company has successfully undertaken numerous projects including the forestry Development Authority new office complex, the renovation of the Ministry of Finance and the Executive Pavilion,
Mr. Akinremi calls on all well-meaning Liberians to not only see the ACMC as their own company but a company that is ready to take on the challenge of nation–building by contributing to the socio-economic and infrastructure development of the country.
“Though the Executive Pavilion contract was a bit hectic and quite a challenge, we have crossed over from one stage to the other and this give us confidence in ourselves to fight for bigger contracts tomorrow”, Mr. Akinremi said.
“We look forward to winning bigger contracts in the future, the ACMC Chief Executive Officer added. He used the occasion to thank all contractors who worked on the
building project especially the Ministry of Public Works Supervisor who with his advice the contract met the timeline stipulated in the agreement.
