New Republic Newspaper is an independent publication established in 2009 with the aim of providing independent, accurate and balanced news for its readers both at home and abroad.  It is managed by Alphonso Toweh, a journalist with many years of professional experience. He is also the correspondent for Reuters News Agency in Liberia.

The paper comes out three times weekly with an active website which runs stories daily.

Its source of funding comes from advertisement.
