The Bassa Crusader for Democratic Action (BACRUDA) has called on Grand Bassa Lawmakers to work  with other lawmakers to ensure the passage of  the  Coastal Defense Act as  such act was important, not only for Bassa, but the entire country.

“We wish to call on the President  Protempt of the  Liberian Senate, Senator Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence and Senators of other coastal counties to convince their colleagues for speedy concurrence with the Honorable House of Representatives on the Coastal Defense Act, Sponsor by Hon. Gabriel B. Smith of Grand Bassa County, currently before the Liberian Senate so as to prevent the threat of sea erosion and other natural disasters,” the group said in a release signed by its    Acting  Secretary General      Omega Janjay Jimmy.
